Full Version: Recording Software Choice?

Hi Guys!

I'm preparing to get back into the VO game (pending my doctor's approval) and since it's been a while since I've recorded anything, I'm wondering what everyone is using, and if there is some wild new software that everyone likes or maybe want to try.

If it's not too much trouble, I wonder what other VoicePros are using and why. Up until my forced sabbatical from recording I had been using an Shure RE-20, occasionally an AKG, a Symetrix 528E pre-amp/processor, and Adobe Audition 1.5.

Any thoughts or advice?

Thanks guys....you are all the best!

I'm using a similar setup for the mic, straight into the system and Audition 3.0 - I've actually preferred that over 1.5, though I know the guys at Pirate are more fond of 1.5 (still are using it to my knowledge).

Glad to have ya back!

Hey Felix Great to hear your coming back. I am using AA 1.5 with several Plug-In Bundles such as Waves Diamond Bundle, Izotope Mastering Bundle, and some other cool stuff. If you need a copy of Cool Edit 2.0 I have a corporate copy and can provide you one it is pretty much the same as AA 1.5. If there is anything I can help you with let me know.
